Sewage treatment plant:
Ultimate average and peak quantities of domestic and industrial discharges as well as infiltration and other flows reaching the wastewater treatment plant will be 3.3 m3/s (1,740,000 PE) and 4.92 m3/s.

The adopted discharge values are 60 g/c/d of BOD5 and 70 g/c/d of suspended solids.
  The main units of the wastewater treatment plant including sludge treatment facilities are as follows:

• Aerated grit/grease chambers
• Primary sedimentation tanks
• Aeration tanks
• Secondary (or final) sedimentation tanks
• Return activated sludge pumping station
• Raw sludge thickeners
• Digestion tanks
• Gas storage tank
• Digested sludge thickeners / holding tanks
• Sludge conditioning
• Sludge dewatering unit
• Odour control system
• Disinfection unit (only in case the final effluent is to be used for irrigation)
