Project Main Components and Features
Construction of catchment works of Ain ez Zarka, maximum yield 300,000 m³/day
Construction of 8 pumping stations, installed capacity up to 1500 kW (flow 1,000 to 11,000 m³/day , head 150 to 530 m)
Construction of 27 reservoirs of 50 to 3,500 m³ and 3 water towers, 150 to 500 m³
Laying of 220 km of transmission lines and 310 km of distribution lines
Served population 160,000 inhabitants in 2020
Scope of Services
Master Plan and Feasibility Study including:
Demographic survey, geologicl and hydrogeological investigations, water allocation resources, water resources studies, geotechnical investigations, economical and financial studies and tarrif studies.

Detailed design of:
80 000 m3/day catchment work, 3 water wells, 8 pumping stations, 3 water towers, 27 reservoirs, 220 km of transmission lines and 310 km of distribution lines.
